A mythical animal drawn in a complex and sophisticated style and several unreadable hieroglyphic signs are all that remains from this woolen saddlecloth. These factors might imply that this weaving is from an entirely different weaving area, perhaps from the extreme south, than any of the other Egyptian fragments.
